FIDELIDADE MUNDIAL - CORPORATE HISTORY
Fidelidade Mundial was founded in 1835 as Companhia de Seguros Fidelidade. Many events have marked the activities of its founding companies over the past 175 years, including mergers, nationalisation and latter reprivatisation, expansion into new markets, new strategies, etc. The name Fidelidade Mundial derives from the 2002 merger between the Fidelidade and Mundial Confiança insurance companies.
